
Okikifa Edanmilare Sangodare Obimakinde Oluso Falade is the Aare Oba, Ogboni Aborigine of America, installed on January 23, 2026 as the AareOba Ogboni of the United States of America by Oba Oluaye Omotoso Alade, the global leader of Aborigine Ogboni Fraternity Worldwide. Ogboni is an ancient Yoruba institution devoted to the governance of community ethics, justice, and Earth law under Onile, Mother Earth; The installation of an Oba Ogboni in the United States marks a historic elevation of an African American to a bonafide King with globally recognized spiritual and ancestral authority. .
His appointment supported by the Executive council of Elders in Ogboni represents a charge of trust: to guide Ogboni affairs in America with order, honor, and accountability under recognized ancestral authority. He is a son of the soil his ancestors toiled, bled and freed themselves on. Today he has risen to honor them through this sacred appointment to lead future generations.


He was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised between St. Louis and Memphis, TN. His father, shaped him through discipline, honor, and self-respect. His mother nurtured his spiritual acumen and grandmothers on both sides raised him to hold a lifelong standard of respect for women. His paternal ancestry, traced through DNA, links back to Osogbo , Osun State Nigeria through the Falade lineage, a line of Babalawos that affirms his ancestral roots in Ifa ( wisdom tradition) even as he now does the same work here in America.
He was educated at Lincoln University and assumed leadership positions in Iota Phi Theta and as a Prince Hall Mason. His spiritual path began in the Spiritualist tradition, where his gifts of prophecy and seership were cultivated from childhood. He explored his ancestral traditions early including Hoodoo and Vodoun, but finally matured through Ìṣẹ̀ṣe Ifa-Orisa wisdom tradition. Oba Okikifa initiated to a number of Orisa and spiritual forces including Ifa, Obatala, Sango, Egbe, Egungun, Osun . He is also initiated to Obaluaye, revered as a king of the Earth, strengthening his bond with the land further supporting his appointment as Aare Oba Ogboni USA.
Oba Okikifa is the co-founder of Ashe Soul Global Village with his wife, Olori Ayana Abiye Ayele Kumari, Iya Mode of the United States, author, and scholar of the Ifa-Orisa tradition. Together they serve community through teaching Ifa and spiritual responsibility. He is also a songwriter and producer for Ashe Soul Music, and co-author of Book of Odu Ifa: A Collection of Ifa Verses. Known for passionate teaching and strong command of Ifa , he stands for justice, fairness, and the restoration of women’s rightful place, believing Ogboni can heal communities and bring people back under a shared destiny rooted in character, truth, and Earth law.
